I Know My Savior Loves Me

So I have been looking for things to introduce "I Know My Savior Loves Me" - we already have a poster that someone made years ago, but I thought I could find a way to put a new spin on it.

And boy did I find it.

Get your tissues ready and if you wish me luck to read this story to the kids in January without breaking down into a blubbering blob: I will do the same for you.

Sugardoodle: one of my favorite cheat sites ever: has a post from a sister who wrote a story for the kids to imagine what it would be like to be a Nephite child when Jesus came to America. I can't even think about it without tearing up - much less reading it OUT LOUD.

As per her suggestion, I will use several pictures found in the gospel art book (which you can download in its entirety from the lds.org website - how awesome is that ?!) I will use pictures numbered 81-84 (which are actually pages 93-96 in the pdf). I am sure I have some of those floating around in my vast mumbled collection of church items, but it sure is nice to know that I now have the entire Gospel Art Book digitally available at the click of a button (or mouse - or touchpad  - or actual screen if you have a fancy dancy touchscreen computer like my husband does [but he won't let me touch it])

The Yearly Planner, Take Two

So in hopes of correcting the Mac problem a reader was having, I have uploaded my yearly planner in pdf format to google docs. You can find it HERE.

UPDATE * In the process of posting the bare bones of my planner to the previous post, I realized that I had all the dates in December listed incorrectly. (They are the dates for this year actually.) I have corrected it and will re-upload both documents (in word and pdf formats) HERE for word and HERE for pdf.

What's Up, Mac?

Well, please let me admit that I am just about computer illiterate.  I can cut copy paste and play minesweeper, but that is just about it. So when I got a comment from a Mac user saying that she was unable to open my file, I thought:

Yep, that was all I thought.

I really have no idea how to upload a Mac Downloadable file. So I did the next best thing thing I could think of:

Copy and paste all of the information directly to the body of this post.

I may try to post a pdf of it soon (I really have no clue if google docs will accept a pdf file or if I have to go back and upload on scribd), but for right now, copy and pasting is all my lazy self has attempted (and it's not even complete - hopefully I will update the last four months soon).
