Would You Like a Yearly Planner for 2015?

Here we go! 2015 come on down! Because I'm ready for you!

Here is my planner for the year. I have all the Birthday Songs, Welcome Songs, and Opening Songs listed. Each month I have a Birthday Song and Welcome Song that I use for the whole month.

Each Sunday has a different opening song. I tried to match the opening song to the weekly theme. Towards the end of the year, I started just picking random songs because all of the weekly themes seemed geared towards the Savior (as it should be) and I felt like I had exhausted all my options on Savior themed songs.

I have several activities plugged in that I typically use every year (Valentine's, St. Patrick's, etc.). Most of the weeks in the fall I just repeat year after year. Because I can. Fall and Christmas time are my favorite times of the year because I just pull from the stash and really don't have to do much creating at all. This coming year, I will have to make the hinges skeleton that I found from Camille's primary ideas just a few days too late for Halloween this year.

Hopefully, the google docs link works (it is new - I haven't been on it in so long and they changed things up on me). It is a word document and should be editable.

This is the original work of Sunbeam Singing. I downloaded her 2013 planner and have just been adjusting it ever since. When I got a new version of word, the images disappeared, so I just plugged new images for each month (because I am clipart happy like that).

Enjoy! Let me know if it doesn't work. Thanks!

2014 blank calendar

(I think I picked this pic because of the mountains: there are none that look like that where I live)
I have finally FINALLY finished the bones for my 2014 calendar! I used Sunbeam Singing's monthly planner that I downloaded last year. I adjusted some things for my own use. Such as the upper box is completely different than hers as I pick a birthday song and welcome song for the whole month, rather than switch it up each week.

So, again, I can take no credit for the beautiful arrangement of the calendar. But, I am sure you'll find plenty of mistakes, so those are mine and I apologize. Fonts, font sizes and formatting glitches are all over the place. Again, apologies.

Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B27MQYRIn4kNRkpsb3BUa1FvMWM/edit?usp=sharing.

Have fun planning this FABULOUS program this year! I may download my "not so blank" version with my song choices (oh! the song choices! have you picked your May and June songs? - It made me cry - but I guess that is a good thing) and possibly opening songs.

And I have noticed lots of problems already, but I do think it is editable, so hopefully you can fix at least some of them

April Planning

(image from 4shared)
For me, April will absolutely FLY by! First week, is of course, General Conference. And for our stake, the following week is Stake Conference.

Consequently my plan will be short. But before I realized Stake Conference was the second week of April, I did plan a song, so I just left it on my page.

The third week I plan on introducing the song I have picked for April - I Know My Father Lives. And the next week will be a memory review game where I will put names of songs on the back of memory game tiles that I plan to print up

And again, this fabulous calendar template was made by Sunbeam Singing

An Idea for 5th Sunday

I often browse through the oodles of primary blogs (see list at right) and think: "Oh, that's a great idea - I'll do that weeks and weeks from now" and for some reason I don't stop to think "And yes, I had better write that down or make a post or something so I won't forget it"

So I forget and then consequently spend unmentionable amounts of time looking for that idea again.

As a consequence, my posts won't be as chronological as I initially planned.

So today's cut and paste idea is:
The Every Last Lyric Game from Sunbeam Singing

found on google images

And no, I never have heard of this game, but it sounds like a super game for Senior Primary. In our branch, we plan on having a Singing Time Sharing Time (Singing time for the whole block), so I am trying to come up with ideas to fill up the whole time.

Apparently you write something down continuously until someone rolls doubles. So in this case, it would be writing down lyrics to songs you are reviewing.
